From Oliver’s Desk – The Gap and the Gain ❄️

Oliver reflects on the idea that dissatisfaction often comes from forgetting how far we’ve come. Inspired by The Gap and the Gain, he shares why choosing hard things intentionally—like his 75-day cold plunge challenge—has helped him grow stronger and more resilient. This mindset led to the creation of the Anti-Aging Fitness Formula, designed to help members stay consistent, capable, and confident as they age. A meaningful conversation outside the studio reminded him that progress looks different for everyone—and Thrive’s role is to support that journey without judgment.

Community Spotlight – Share the Gym You Love ❤️

February brings a special opportunity to train with someone you care about. Members can invite a spouse or friend to experience Thrive with 3x/week workouts for 21 days at a special February rate. It’s a reminder that fitness doesn’t have to be intimidating—and that starting together can make all the difference.

Program Update – Anti-Aging Fitness Formula Series

Thrive is partnering with Rooted Pilates to introduce a new series combining strength training and Pilates. The program includes limited 1-on-1 sessions and small group training, designed to support longevity, mobility, and confidence. This collaboration reflects Thrive’s commitment to meeting members where they are and helping them move forward safely and effectively.

Movement with Purpose – Exercise of the Month 🏋️‍♀️

This month’s featured exercise is the Side Lying Leg Lift, used to activate the glutes and reduce unnecessary strain on the lower back. The focus: sharing the workload so your body feels supported, balanced, and strong—inside and outside the gym.

Fuel & Recover – Nutrition Basics 🍽️

February’s food feature breaks down simple, practical pre- and post-workout nutrition. From quick carbs before training to balanced recovery meals afterward, the goal is clarity—not complexity—so members can fuel performance and recovery with confidence.

The 3-Step Micro Plan 🧠

This month’s simple focus:

  • Lift: Complete 12 strength workouts—however, that fits your schedule

  • Stretch: Prioritize your quads

  • Recover: When you see the color orange, pause for 3 deep breaths

Small actions, repeated consistently, create lasting change.

Know someone who feels stiff, tired, or overwhelmed by fitness? Members are encouraged to share Thrive with friends who need structure, accountability, and support—because progress is better when it’s shared.
